Optical Express announced the opening of Moulsdale House, a £2.5m RNIB (Royal National Institute For The Blind) Employment & Learning Centre in Edinburgh. The facility was officially opened by Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal to support people with serious sight defects resulting from illness or injury. In recognition of David Moulsdale’s substantial support, the centre has been named Moulsdale House.
Moulsdale House is located in the grounds of Jewel & Esk Valley College, one of Edinburgh’s largest Further Education Colleges. The Centre operates in partnership with the College, enabling those attending the centre to have access to their courses and facilities, and is the largest investment ever made in Scotland in support of blind and visually impaired adults.
