Optical Express announced their support of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and their mission to promote responsible forestry worldwide. The company take their corporate social responsibility very seriously and have committed to various programmes of support in consideration of the immediate and long-term social and environmental consequences of their activities.
Where possible with their products, such as their quarterly staff magazine “The Express”, the paper used for printing is produced using FSC certified wood. In addition the majority of internal communication and weekly news updates are now ‘on-line’ publications, with emphasis on saving paper and support of the “think before you print” campaigns.
