Optical Express, the only UK optician that can offer patients the complete range of visual solutions, made a welcome return to Lakeside Shopping Centre this weekend with the opening of their newly furbished eye clinic.
The move is part of the Group’s plans announced late last year to consolidate its retail store portfolio. Lakeside Shopping Centre, together with the adjoining Retail Park, forms one of the largest shopping areas in Europe and currently attracts over 26 million visitors a year.
The new Optical Express clinic is located on level 2 adjacent to Marks and Spencer and will provide a full eye care service including laser eye surgery consultations, eye examinations and a full glasses and contact lens service including assessments, fittings and aftercare.
This format sits between Optical Express’ full service treatment clinics and their traditional glasses and contact lenses only clinics, providing a full range of optical solutions under one roof.
Optical Express has identified a further thirty locations across the UK which will benefit from local access to laser eye surgery, having already announced the opening of new eye clinics in nine locations in England this year.
