World class eye care provider, Optical Express opens in Salisbury

Optical Express were delighted to announce this week, the opening of a brand new eye clinic in the historic cathedral city of Salisbury. The new clinic aims to deliver unbeatable value on optical solutions and offer patients free consultations for laser eye surgery.

With the nearest clinic previously being Southampton, Salisbury is a brand new venture for the optical chain who has overseen the opening of 32 new clinics since the beginning of 2013.

Salisbury optometrist Georgette Tolios is an expert in her field having completed over 20 optical related courses all over the world. Georgette together with experienced patient advisor, Kim Keily, are excited about this new opening.

Georgette commented:

“Optical Express have been providing eye care to millions of people in the UK for over 20 years. We recognised and responded to the need for a world class laser eye surgery provider in the Salisbury area and I am delighted to be able to welcome the local community through the doors and show off our fantastic new clinic.”

The clinic, located in the city centre at the northern end of the High Street close to the Cathedral, is only a short walk from the railway station. In addition to free consultations for laser eye surgery, Optical Express will continue to offer eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses and clinical aftercare appointments.

April will see the eye care chain continue their expansion into locations such as Coventry and Leamington Spa with new clinics planned in the Republic of Ireland later this year.

David Moulsdale, Optical Express Chairman and CEO commented:

“We believe the new eye clinic is a great addition to Salisbury city centre. We set ourselves apart from other opticians as we are the only provider who can offer patients every optical solution available, all in the one location. I look forward to watching our patient base grow and hope they are satisfied with their Optical Express experience.”
