Optical Express opens brand new location in East Midlands

Optical Express is bringing their ever expanding clinic portfolio to the borough of Northampton.

Situated just off the M1, Northampton was a natural location for Optical Express to open a brand new state-of-the-art eye clinic to cater for patients situated between Birmingham and London.

Northampton boasts a population of over 200,000 and Optical Express will be attracting this community to their new clinic by offering a full range of optical solutions from glasses and contact lenses through to laser eye surgery and natural lens replacement, the only UK eye care provider equipped to do so.

The new clinic is situated on St Giles’ Terrace, next to the historic St Giles Church and is the first Optical Express to open in this area; patients previously would have had to travel to either Birmingham or London. Clinic Manager Cherry Peters said: “The team and I are excited to be based in the new Optical Express clinic in Northampton and are ready to welcome both new and existing patients, we offer a full range of services which the local community will benefit from having on their doorstep.”

The clinic is easily accessible by public transport with regular bus services running from Greyfriars Bus Station, it is also close to Northampton train station which is on the main line between Birmingham and London Euston.

David Moulsdale, Optical Express Chairman and CEO commented: “We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and are ready to offer patients of all ages the world class service that you can expect from a global company like Optical Express. I look forward to welcoming new patients and growing our business in the East Midlands area.”
